What it is
Conversation isn't a straight line.
Group chats force every topic into one scrolling timeline, where the thing you actually wanted to discuss gets buried under the last ten messages. Tangents is an experiment in laying chat out in 2D by topic: letting conversations branch into their own spaces so nothing gets lost to the scroll.
